I recently bought a pair of ebay clear side marker lights for the 5th gen, and when I went to install them, they didn't fit because of a small difference from the OEM light housing. The three notches in the bulb socket force the bulb housing to be turned the wrong way and the wire harness gets in the way of the screw and prevents it from fitting into the bumper. (see pics)

Anyone else experience this with any of the clear side markers? I actually bought a second pair that looked different from a different seller after returning the first pair, and they still had the problem. I know its a pretty stupid problem, but just frustrated after having a second pair not fit again.

If there aren't any suggestions on making this fit, can anyone point me to where I can buy a pair if clear front side markers that are guaranteed to fit the 5th gen?

i got mine from ebay and they fit perfect, i guess send them back..
