i just purchased a 1997 JDM Integra Type R Sedan. flew in to seattle with a friend to pick it up and drive it home. 14 hour drives are not fun by the way.
i'll be posting some pics and sharing the car with you guys once I have it all sorted out (missing front lip, non-ITR srs steering wheel, chrome 17" rims, etc...), and registered for street use.
for now though, I am on a quest for a replacement blue vin tag for the radiator support. the guy i bought the car from, bought it from some punk kid in SoCal who took the VIN tag out from under the hood along with a few other parts.
i remember on ebay a while ago there was a company making fake replica JDM VIN tags that looked close to authentic, and they could make them say whatever you want them to. does anyone remember this company or know of anyone who could help me get the correct tag for my radiator support? i just want the car to be original, and have a tag that matches the chassis # that is stamped into the firewall: DB8-xxxxxxx.

that would be sweet if you could, or if anyone knows a shop that could just make one for me instead, that would be sweet.

yeah, i already have a DB8 Si VTEC blue vin plate that the seller of the car threw in with the sale in the glovebox, but I'm not going to put that on my ITR. it's on ebay right now in fact.

Those are pics the seller sent me before I bought the car, and don't come close to reflecting how truly clean the car is. Please also keep in mind that I am putting on OEM rims, and an OEM lip, and an OEM JDM ITR SRS steering wheel, and that I have already cleaned the junk off the valve cover. I will do my own photoshoot or have Bryant shoot my car once it is to the desired state.

thanks, i was contacted by the previous owner when my silvia was on ebay and he asked me if I was interested in arranging a trade. i didn't trade my silvia since I sold it for cash locally, so I just ended up buying his ITR. It was more than what I sold my silvia for. I won't say the exact price, but let's just say I got a pretty good deal.
