im trying to upgrade from my F4 found a f4i and hes willing to go down to 3700 bad part is , its salvaged title with 17k miles, he said the igntion got changed so the gas tank and igntion key are differnt. wondering once a bike is stolen is it automaticly salvaged? would u guys get a salvaged title bike?

 

id def. get a salvaged bike if things werent too bad and it was fixed right. its less money spent to me

Only if I was absolutely certain of the history of the bike's salvage. Otherwise, you never know what happened to the bike to get that title. The seller could flat out lie.

 

If its stolen(just for parts) and no frame damage, i would get a salvage bike. But like marmalade said, they can flat out lie.
