Help on my CRX swap? plez
Ok i recently purchased an 1989 CRX HF and it is runnning perfect. The guy before me put a 1996 Honda Civic DX motor (95,000miles) in it to make it run longer but kept stock tranny in it. I'm going to swap it again but dont know what to put in it. i dont want to just put in integra LS bc its just like everyone else. I want to put in a 96+ JDM GSr motor but dont know what all is need like what type of wire harness i need. I'm pretty sure my car is ObD0 but dont know if it was changed in the first swap. Other than motor, trans and ecu i dont know what kind of other parts are needed to complete the swap. Do i need to make more room in the engine bay to fit the 96+ engine in???? please help
you need alot to do that swap... check and see if your car is wired obd1 if it has a 92-95 dx motor...(check the plugs on the distributor are they rectangular and gray or round and white)
to start with you will need mounds, shift linkage, ecu, axles, wireing harnesses, tranny, and im prety sure if you are going from a crx hf and putting a gsr motor in it you will need to chang the fuel pump correct me if im wrong?

Thanks Im making sure its not just going to be a ridiculous high dollar swap im looking to put about $3500 torwards a swap. Ill check the distributer.
