3 bolts...take off....put on...3 bolts.

you can't put it back in wrong....it's built to only go in the way it came out....i was worried about the same thing when i did mine...but once i got it off i was like duh...took me all of 5 mins

 

Mark where your old distributor was set, so you don't have to reset the timing, reset the timing if you know how...
