the mani's that they sell suck. my uncle bought a pretty big size t3/t4 turbo off of them and they shipped him the wrong one. the one he paid for is all the way in austria. he paid alot for it. he tried to contact xs power and ssautochrome but would never answer his email. so he paid alot of money and didn't get the one he ordered. xs power/ssautochrome they messed up and they won't answer my uncles email that he sends to them that says they shipped the wrong turbo to him. the one he paid for i sall the way in Austria. wouldn't trust them at all. thats my opinion/point of view of how that company does business. they been recently getting bad feedbacks, did you know about that.

I have never had one of these kits but I have read up on them alot. Do a search on them in the archived topic and confirm. From what I have read it seems like they are good till about a week after installed. Then things go wrong after that. Just save up and buy a rev hard kit or better yet, there is a used kit for sale for 1200 shipped here on honda-tech somewhere.

I've heard good things about the JStoneStang kits. XSPower/SSAC are terrible Honda-wise. I've got a Nissan friend that says it is common for KA-T people to use an SSAC manifold. He is using one and it has held up well. I wouldn't trust them though, save some more.

Besides some crappy products, they have real bad customer service and like to send out the wrong parts..(SSautochrome,xs power, stoneracing)

Check out the feedback. http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bi...e.com

for a couple hundred more you could have gotten a peakboost kit or a used full race. or a fab-work or ccfab..............................the list goes on and on

From what i see the only problem with the ssauto manifold is they crack from all the weight just hanging there. I can weld pretty good and for the cost savings i'd be willing to cut every runner off and re-weld and brace the **** out of it. I've got a friend with the manifold, T3/T4 turbo and wastegate all from ssauto on an built LS/vtec that did like 467hp to the wheels. and its been on there for a little over a year. For $150, i'd try one for a while.

Turboing a car is not cheap. I 've seen many examples in the forced induction section of cracked manifolds and blown engines due to boost creep.

ive been building cars for a long time, i wondered the same thing you wondered,

i finally bought a ebay kit for $900, the only parts that worked were the manifold, turbo, wastegate, and blowoff valve. i had to fabricate all the piping, exhaust ect. spent $1000 over that.

the car makes good power, but alot of headache...
