RSX or WRX, which is actually better?

RSX or WRX, which is actually better?
I'm either buying a WRX or the '02 Acura RSX, and i can't decide which one to go for. The WRX looks sweet, but it costs more, and my friends tell me it's not good for racings, cause its heavy and has 4 wheel drive, is that true? Then there's the RSX, which also looks nice, cept the big *** it has, it costs less, but i havent heard any good things about racing them. Can somebody please help me out, I'd appreciate it a lot, thanx.

well its a hard decision. these are both great cars. i amost got a wrx too. as for the wrx not being a good race car. who ever told u that is smokin crack. my homie in my race crew has one and is hittin 12.9 with only like 9oo in mods. and he is still on the stock turbo. so the wrx is a sweet car. but i love my rsx-s more. the rsx-s is a sweet street car i like the way it handles. i love the top end on my baby. so both of these cars are good for racing. just a matter of which route u want to go. all motor or turbo. well the rsx is gettin a turbo soon, so that will be a good match. but i like my acura more. so in the end it all comes down to your taste. these are both sweet cars. but one thing i have to say is that the wrx launches of the line thanx to awd. but the rsx-s is a better track car. i dont know if i was any help to you, but this will be a hard decision.
rsx-s: 200 hp, 141 pds of tourque, 6 speed close gears fwd good track car
wrx: 227 hp, 180 pds of tourque( might be off a lil) 5 speed. awd. good drag car.
get the exact specs off the net. mine might be off a little bit. but which ever car u get you cant go wrong. well good luck bro.

Whoever told you that AWD is bad for racing is also on crack. Its great for drag racing, its great for track racing. Theres a REASON the BTCC banned AWD A4's a few years back.

well thanx alot for the posts, and yes you were a really big help, i think i'm leaning towards teh RSX now, and you say there will be a turbo for it some time soon? Well, that's definetly an up side, especially if i'll be able to add on to it. Well thanx again, later!

BTW, the WRX is rated at 227hp and 217tq. NOT 180. The mid-range pull is huge. There was one guy on the I-Club, who I know indirectly, that ran a 13.4 with a K&N, $80 MBC, and I think a removed muffler. Make of that what you will.

As much as I like Honda, the WRX is better.
WRX=Stock Turbo=AWD=Styling is OK
RSX(New Integra)=Turbo ["In my wet dreams"]= AWD ["The day I play with Britney Spears ****']=Styling [ "Everybody is going to get used to it! Just read JDM magz"]

Someone bashed me like **** saying the WRX is slower at the track (not drag) than RSX, ITR. Damn, i got kinda pissed, cause they were saying the AWD and the LSD is not good. it made me laugh, cause i know for a fact that the WRX is waaay better on track than the RSX and ITR.
go for the WRX! (or wait for the EVO-VII or STI)

His purpose is to drag and street race (not that i recommand, but...)
In this two area, WRX is better than RSX stock vs stock (even mod vs mod WRX can get power easily with less money)
But I think on the track, WRX may not be better, depending on what track.

stock for stock from a stop yes the wrx will spank the rsx like nothing, but from a roll its a different story...

well to elaborate...a friend of mine owns one, from a stop he *** rapes me, but from a roll on the highway its more of a race...i down shifted to third pulled a little, then 4th a little again, by the time we let off i had about 1/2 a car on him, maybe a bit more, but never the less he lost...awd is good from a stop, but hurts you in the long run...just ask eclipse owners...oh and i'm not bashing the wrx, it was my other choice in cars besides this one...
