b16 in 91 crx

b16 in 91 crx

I know this may sound stupid, but is it very noticable when vtec kicks in? Is there any way to test it to make sure?

If your running a pr3 ecu then vtec should kick in @ 5500 rpm redline is 8100 and yes it is noticable especially in exhaust volume.

PR3 kicks in at 4700 and red lines at 7800
PW0 kicks in st 5500 and red lines at 8200

The PWO is the ecu to get its out of the 90 91 crx SIR
The PR3 is out of a XSi teg

Interesting I have the PR3 ecu and my Vtec comes in at 5500 and it revs out at 8200. And yes the Vtec kick is noticeable even in my 4dr.

Only if the pr3 is an auto. the teg will rev to 8200 also
