ok, i searched this, honestly i did.

after my girl told me her headlight is out and she asked me to change it, and then i tell her, its not a big deal, ill change it over the weekend. BAMM she gets pulled over. so the cops just tell her to get it fixed and sent her on her way. So then i go to the auto parts store and bought her the stock replacement bulb and im ready to change it, but i have no clue how to take that little cover off that is in front of the battery. can anyone please tell me, or point me in the right direction i would greatly appriciate it. i feel like a jack *** cause i can dissassemble my AP1 from top to bottom but i cant figure how to take that cover off. it looks like there are 2 nipple like "thingies" that you pull off but i dont wanna break anything. thanks in advance

 

I'm sure the rubber boots will pull off, then there is a clip that pushes down and hinges from the opposite side.

 

so just pull them off???? that what i wanted to know cause i didnt wanna damage any part of that cover.

 

I did the exact thing you are talking about the other day when I put in my silverstars. Just pull the thing off the nipples and then straight up. It's a pretty solid piece so I wouldn't worry about damaging it. However, unless you have really small hands it is REALLY hard to reach the bulb from there. The owners manual advises that you should remove the sheild in the wheelwell to access the lights.
