Anyone used red wrinkle paint on their ITR valvecover?
Mine's a little nicked up... if I were to touch up some parts of it with this paint, how well would it match the original wrinkle finish?
most people stripped theres completely and redo it with the red wrinkle paint. A few guys in the ITR forum has done it and I read that it looks exactly the same. If I remember correctly, they used VHT red wrinkle paint. it is impossible to leave your finish on there now and touch up a few spots.
not exactly but very close.
You cant really tell by looking at pictures but side by side comparing it shows the differiences.

Maaaan I don't know about for anyone else but stripping the valve cover was no easy task...I used aircraft paint remover and it didn't do jack so I just ended up sanding the biotch.
