Default 2001 prelude dash brake light comes on

Whe it does get cold in Boca the brake light on the dasd comes on and stays for 10 or 15 mintues then it goes off. I have checked the wheels for any signs of brake problems. none. the fluid is find.
Start without touching brake pedal with emergency on. light is on.
Release emergency brake light goes off
press brake pedal as car goes down the driveway. light comes and stays on for 10-15 minutes.
This only happens when the temperatur deeps to 55 or less at night.

What can be wrong?

the E-brake cable needs to be adjusted.

its most likely the float switch in the brake fluid reservoir. mine does it too.

Mine was doing it, but since it's been getting warmer it's gone away. This is apparently an issue for 5th Gen Preludes & ITR's as well. You can check the ebrake cable, and make sure that you have plenty of fluid, but it is a good chance that it's the float from what I have read, and it is more prominent in colder weather.
