Most S2000s I have done, [and it's more then a few] no rear speakers are used, we concentrate on the front speakers, and if anything is installed in the rear then it is no more then a mid-range/mid-bass driver, no tweeters in the rear, and a sub can be installed in the trunk without using the whole trunk, like this...... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod...=1405
or a custom fiberglass box can be done for just about any driver. 94

There is always something that can be done, but IMO for better sound, adding or replacing the oem speakers is not the way to go, a much bigger and better diff. can be made by replacing the HU and using the stock speakers. 94

coming from an actual s2k owner, i understand your needs. you are talking about s-pods. they go in the back part of the headrest.

if you are simply aiming to gain some extra dB levels, they are a great idea and are very effective.

if you are going for a higher quality type sound, there are lots that can be done. just ask and you will recieve.
