Default Rev limiter

Hey i bought my 2000 PY type r

The rev limiter on it is set to 9600rpm!!! on stock everything!
Just want to know how to bring it back to stock condition before I blow everything up
There is also the vtec engagement point which is set at 5800 rpm
I also whant to set it back to stock

Welcome to the elitist club.....

First of all don't shift at 9600rpm. Even if it is indicated on the tach as being that high, it's likely to be lower since the stock tachometer is notoriously inaccurate at higher revs.

Shift at indicated redline instead - instead of bouncing off the rev limiter.

The 5800rpm VTEC Xover sounds normal.

If you want everything to be stock...you can try searching for a stock ECU.

What are you using to change the VTEC and rev limit? Hondata, Uberdata, ?
Congrats on the purchace. If I just bought a car, and found that the rev limit was already changed to 9600 RPM, I'd be a little pissed

same... But 5800 on vtec engage is right...
