does anyone know how to remove the dash to install a head unit? i have a 06 civic dx and it doesn't come with any cd/cassette player.

thank you so much. since the dx didn't come with the cd/cassette player, it came with the adapter kit from the factory...this means i don't have to buy anything else other than the harness right?

 

i haven't seen one DX owner yet

so i have no idea but on handaaccessories.com they have the cd player that goes there and here are the installation instructions

it's not the money, i have the money to buy the SI outright with cash but didn't.

it's a civic. meant for cheap & reliable transportation. I don't want to pay extras for the upper models for features/extras that i will not used or throw out (stock audio system, a/c, 16" rims, etc.) if i want a sport car, i'd rather buy a 2nd car such as a supra or 300z turbo and work on it. if i want a luxury car, i was going to buy a 2000/2001 bmw 3 series for the same price. But i want a new car that i know it's going to be a great daily driver and cheap.

i've own a turbo supra with close to 300rwhp and a z32. they are the real sport/luxury/gt cars.

the aftermarket deck isnt a big deal.... alot of people do it... trust me i do it for a living... but all this other **** your gonna put into it when you could have just bought an Si or something else from jump.
