what is the engine code for the JDM H22 motor with 220hp 11.1:1 compression? and what is the difference between the JDM h22 and USDM h22? thanks for the info. peace

 

Its called H22 Type S. It features an ATTS system like the US H23. Active Traction Transfer System. The engine can only be used with an ATTS tranny. As far as I know it has never been swapped into a non ATTS vehicle due to wiring complications. Its almost like a Type R H22, but not quite .. Type S is racy but not quite as racy as the Type R... RSX in japan currently offer both a base model, Type S and then a Type R.
