Has anybody else seen this/used this? I forgot where I heard it but the concept is a resistor plugged into the IAT (intake air temperature) sensor... Supposedly it will give you more horsepower (by like 10)...does anybody know anything else about this?
One of the many lies that people try to make money off of. Since no one replied, thats usually the first clue. All it does it trick the ecu into delivery a little more fuel (it thinks its cold). It will not give you 10 more horsepower.

ha, I see, was looking at the cheep fake ones on ebay and saw a picture of it, and it was only a resistor in the IAT sensor...I was like...whaat??? I'll take one from the physics lab :-\

True, if you have the PDF manual for EGs, get it and it gives you a curve graph of the resistances versus voltage or something of that sort. You can figure it out yourself if you know what you are doing.

Which I have no idea....
I think it's in the best interest of the car if I leave the IAT sensor alone..
even though I aced electronics in physics....I feel it's a bit different in this situation..
