Default 00 si (B16a2) Idle at 1500 and 1200 RPM, HELP.

Yestday I got my Master Cylinder, Brake Booster, Honda Tramssion oil, and Mobile 1 engine oil replaced at once.

Good news is braking issue is fixed. Bad news is this...

I felt the car is a little different in the way it sounds and performs.
Im not sure if this is normal after a tramssion oil change. I thought maybe it needs to settled in. That thought could be stupid. I dont know what the mechanic did cause i wasn't there when he did all of this. When driving normal, the car now idles at 1500 then slightly drops to 1200 and goes back up to 1500. It only flucuates a little but mostly stay at 1500. I dont like the feeling at all. Need your guys help on this one before heading back to the shop this week.

Thanks in advance.

Inspect the vacuum lines around the brake booster. Sounds like a vacuum leak, not an engine oil/trans fluid issue.

I will check that. thanks.

I also wanna note that if I tap on the gas pedal a little bit, the car kinda sputtered. This is when it idles at 1500. Hope this help too.

spray some carb cleaner around the area you think might have a leak and if you hear the motor rev a little then youve found the leak

I will give that a try tomorrow as well. I just hope its not the brake booster and master cylinder cuase they were perchased used at the junkyard for a reasonable price with a 30 day warranty.
