im thinking about buying a set from a fellow HTer but he doesnt know if theyre the ones made for the konis...HELP please! thanks!

A good place to answer this would be the Suspension fourm.
And that was ment to sound like a snide comment. They helped me out on a 2 Page thread about suspension set-up.

so if the sleeves are longer..than id be able to buy the gc's made for any 94-01 integras and it should fit
but im still kinda skeptical about spending that much money and receiving the wrong product...why would GC make a set specifically for konis if it wasnt necessay?
"Description: This kit fits 94-2001 Honda Integra LIMITED EDITION with stock, Sachs, Boge, Tokico Premium Performance, Tokico Illumina, Monroe, Gabriel, KYB or AGX shocks. This kit does not fit Koni or Bilstein. For those shocks, see our other kits." -that was quoted from their website..
Thanks for the replies guys!! keep it up!

Not sure about the length difference, but the primary difference is in the way the sleeve is supported on the shock body. The koni's use retaining rings in grooves on the shock body which can be adjusted to move the lower spring location. roughly one cm between grooves. The gc sleeve for koni sits nicely on the retaining ring, and you can adjust the location if you need to. This feature is integrated into the sleeve. For kyb's and other shocks, you get pretty much get a cylinder. it looks like a pipe with thread on it. this sits on the lower spring perch and is kinda ghetto imo. get gc for konis if you have konis.

The o-rings are just to keep the cylinder centered on shock. The body itself is still just a cylinder. The ones for konis have a step which fits snug on the koni retaining ring. they also fit perfectly on the shock body so no spacing is necessary. I have heard of people using o-rings, radiator hose, or the hard plastic sleeves that gc provides to keep the threaded body centered on the shock.
