Default hmm..need your opinions with finishing up the setup.

Alright I have a sohc turbo running 7psi on a gt28r turbo.. with boost, oil pressure & wideband 02 a/f gauges. Im about to go get it tuned early this week, so my question to you all is, should I bother buying an egt gauge or will my current setup do me just fine? I've already searched the topic, but so far all Ive been able to find is 50/50 and even the reasons people have aren't that concrete, so im hoping you guys can help me out. I'm on a tight budget, so I don't want to get the egt if I don't need to, but also want to be sure that I'm running my car safe, so let me know what you think.

An EGT and gauge is just another tool in the toolbox, another gauge to warn you of something potentially dangerous or that something has changed that might not be openly aparant.

Not as useless as a narrowband light show, not as important as a wideband...but a decent gauge to have none the less.

hmm, still kinda a 50/50 answer, im basically just trying to find out if I can run safely without it (keeping in mind the current setup) or if its necessary to prevent detonation.
