First and foremost i would like to thank Bjorn and Rich at http://www.customlightz.com . Friday night Bjorn travelled up from Richmond to visit and together we installed my set up. While i buffed and polished my headlights Bjorn installed my harness and fastened my ballast/ignitor box securely to my bumper bracket for a very hidden/stealth look. I could not be happier with the retrofit. As promised i have for you all to see three set-ups: first pics with oem bulbs, then my aftermarket HID kit, and finally the TSX retrofit!
Here is where my ballast/ignitor box is mounted

Here you can see one of the inline fuses on the harness. The extra provide safety for both the ballast/ignitor box and bulbs. There is also another inline fuse on the harness by the battery.

As you can see there is nothing but the harness creeping out from under the headlight, it is an extremely clean look. It wouldn't appear that i have HIDz at all

I painted the low-beam portion a low gloss black, otherwise the original chrome look would have produced unwanted glaring.

This is the inline fuse closest the battery i spoke of....

I will post more pics of the install later, but now i want to show you guys the comparison pics taken. I wish i would have taken the before pics at the same location of the after pics, but i didn't realize we were gonna to be using an "L" shaped wall to tweak my set up! So.... here are the before pics.
1st... oem bulbs, the way our headlights look from the factory

Now... these next two were taken just minutes later with my aftermarket HID kit installed. Same exact spots. The first is from about 10 away, the second is from about 25 feet.

Now... what you have all been waiting to see! These are the pics taken friday night while tuning my headlights after the set-up had been installed. The pics you see here are from approximately 20 yards away from the wall.

This is simply a close up of the color produced from that same distance

Now.... this picture is taken from approximately 30+ yards away. This truely shows the difference the retrofit makes. Look how much light is dispersed across the entires ground level. Oh and i just wanted to mention that ground is uneven which is why there appear to be darker spots in certain places!

I have many many more pics to upload yet, and i think you all will really enjoy looking at them. So for now enjoy what i have posted, and please ask any question you may have. I will do my best to answer them all for you. If you are interested in what everything cost please pm me directly!

However I would have recommended a bi-xenon low beam setup if you were going all out

Bjorn and i talked about doing the bi-xenon, but i had the projectors already laying around so i had to buy nothing! Who knows... maybe i'll get an itch in a year or so and go really crazy

cut off looks good, the install is very nice and clean. i did the same on my R, hid everything
would like to see it in person to give final judgement

First off. Thank you Jon and Nate! These guys are truely awesome people. Jon thank you for your hospitality, and you have an awesome family.
Now, though I agree with the first statement, I heavily disagree with the latter.
Unless we are talking about TL-bixenons, no bixenon stand a chance in comparison to single xenon, nevertheless TSX and S2000.
If you meant to say that Jon should of retroed bixenons in the highbeam area while keeping the modded tsx in the low beam portion. That would have been all out, because he would constantly have 4 HID projectors running at all times.

Looks great Jon. Anyone have an extra Nissan Murano projector, bulb, and ballast laying around? I'm one short of doing this.

Wow the Murano projectors are huge to fit in the Integra housing.
There's nothing like a cleanly done retrofit with Stanley projectors!

You're right, I am referring to the TL bixenons
I have the e55 bi-xenon's in now, and while the cutoff sharpness isn't as nice as the TSX's or S2000's, the bi-xenon functionality is amazing on backroads.
Just got a set of TL bi-xenon's i'm going to try and squeeze in there soon

They aren't really all that big. The shroud that covers them is big though.

Yeah the E55 are no where close to the TL, or TSX for that matter. The TL are very nice, almost as colorful as the TSX and almost as wide as the S2000, and their highbeam is so much better than the E55. Modifying the TL would make it better too.

Yes, the labor of retrofitting it horizontaly straight. OEM adjustabilities intact. Flush back portion. Color mod is also included.
All you need is the projector, bulb and ballast.

Nice setup. So did you do any of the hacking of the stock headlights or did you get a plug-n-play setup with the projectors already installed in the housings from customlightz.com?
Looks really nice
. I have a friend who is in the process of doing the same retrofit.
Now where is he? I'm sure he'll chime in in a second here.....................

I had the TSX projectors laying around, and was using an aftermarket HID kit in my car. I simply had Bjorn and Rich at customlightz do the projector retrofit. They also painted the low-beam portion black, made my harness, as well as color modded the projector and applied upgraded sealant so that i never have condensation issues
I would like to apologize for those who checked on the webpage. I had some difficulties with the coding, but it should be up to paar now.
Here are some additional pics.
I think my camera was able to capture more of the colors emitted from the color mod.

Jon was nice to come and meet up with Nate. Thanks guys!

Couldn't help but to take this pic while I was installing the wire harness.
[/URL]
That's Jon resurfacing and restoring the lenses.
I"m currently working on a write up showing how to install the headlights along with how to aim the HIDs correctly...should I post it here or on the webpage and link it?

Thanks for the info. Didn't you need to get new bulbs since the HID kit you had was probably rebased to fit the stock projectors?

Yeah I got him free Philip 4300K D2S bulbs. He's a good friend that's why. But yeah, rebased can't really be used. You can remodify them, but too much of a risk. A few millimeter off and the beam patterns is off.

wow, that looks awesome! Think you could take a pic of your car in daylight so i see how the black low beam housing looks with the high beam still chrome?
I know Jon is watching the Superbowl now, and I know that he will provide you with more pics.
This is what I have...hope it helps.
