Default Power Street - Parachute?

So who do you think will be the first to need a parachute in Power Street?

Didn't the new rules mandate a chute at 135mph now instead of 150mph?

Not sure, but I was running consistent 140-142mph trap speeds. I have since switched to a smaller turbo, but may end up switching back to something bigger. I can't make up my mind

Yeah, sure. What you are missing is that I don't want to have to run a parachute...

i always say just tie it to the shiter or something and if you go 150 just throw the thing out the sunroof. parachutes suck....tig welding upside down inside a trunk isnt very fun haha

If that's the case then why was everyone whining about having to have a chute at 135? I thought they changed it?

We where whining about the cage, i mean come on a 10 point cage in a true street car, just dont seem right!!

I have beat that topic too death it makes no sense for a TRUE street class that has to have full exaust system and interior having to run a 10 point cage!!

Just because its a true street car doesnt mean it shouldnt have to follow safety rules. The cage is obviously for your safety. Id say its definitely not a stupid rule. And a true FWD street car with 600-800 whp doesn't make much sense either

Don't count your chickens before they hatch .

I think if Jim finds more power this year he'll be one of the first nearing 150's. By the end of the season though, I see a few 145+ mph cars in PW/S. Evo's, Andrea and Jim just to name a few
