Default Frozen front upper ball-joint, replace it or use a camber kit?

Like the title says, should I replace the ball joint, which is hella expensive, or should I get an adjustable camber-kit and not worry about the ball joint? I am lowering the car with coil-overs, and the rear "nent arm" camber kit.

Thanks!

replace the part before it breaks and you are screwed over by an even more expensive repair

Would you just stop for a moment and listen to yourself, Please?
If you are convinced that you can get away with a frozen Ball Joint, you should surrender your keys and any rights you may think you've got with regards to driving.
If nothing else, this proves just how little you understand about the workings of an Automobile.
"Please drop the wrench, and back away from the car!!!"

Easy there P-Adams. I plan on replacing it, but I was just asking a question. Sheesh. I wanted to know if the ball joint made that much of a difference, but after talking with my buddy who used to do alignments, it really does. So, please disregard the post. Both sides will be replaced when the car gets lowered. Thanks for the input!

I never heard of a ball joint 'freezing' .. if anything there is too much 'play' as that is when they would require replacement. If you opt for a ball-joint camber kit then this will fix your bad upper balljoints (if thats the accuall problem) ... but i highly doubt a ball joint is 'frozen'. Is the ball joint boot ripped? leaking grease?

They actually rust so badly that the effort to move them becomes increasingly difficult. It usually leads to the ball stud snapping.

ps: Yes, it is usually accompanied by a torn ball joint boot
