91 Hatch wont start
This is akward, The hatch has been running with a slight missfire. But it would still start and run no problem. Icame home one night parked it, came out in the morning to go to school and it just wouldnt start. Its getting fuel but i dont think its getting spark. I took the dist cap off and theres some kind of white build up on the top center metal piece and its all black on the distibutor where that piece plugs into.
When i lift up my carpet with accesories on the ecu blinks 15 times over and over what code is that? or is it telling me i have no codes. Do i just beed a whole new distributor?
i dont get it i just put the cap plugs and wires on a few thousand miles ago. some one please answer asap. This is my dd and i need it fixed

Direct from the manual, I'd say replace the ignitor:
Code 15:
1.) first, remove the HAZARD fuse for 10 seconds and replace.
2.) Start the engine.
3.) Code 15? Yes, go to next step. No, check for poor connections or loose wires at the distributor connector and the square connector at the right shock tower.
4.) Disconnect the 2 pin connector from the distributor, turn the ignition switch to ON and measure voltage between BLK/YEL and body ground.
5.) Is there battery voltage? Yes, go to next step. No, repair the open in BLK/YEL wire between the connector and ignition switch.
6.) With the ignition switch ON, measure the voltage between ECU terminals B15 (+), B17 (+), and A18 (-) terminals.
7.) Is there approximately 10V from A18 to B15 and B17? Yes, substitute a known good ECU and re-check, if symptom goes away, replace ECU. No, replace ignitor unit OR repair open or short in WHT wires between distributor and ECU.
