Default 01 Type R rear seat swap into 00 civic Hatch

Saw some guy on the net that swapped the rear seats from a type R into his civic hatch, is this a bolt in affair, does it line up well look good? Or is there other fabrication that needs to be done?

you have to use an 2 dr back cushion and 4 dr butt/bench cushion to have it perfect fit.
If you are using only 2dr seat it will have gap on each side on the bench.
The 4dr back cushion would be too big for your hatch.

to make the 2dr itr back cushion fit oem into your hatch, you need to swap the skins with your stock back cushions. then use the stock frame and replace the material with the itr material

So the 2 door back, with the 4 door butt/bench. expletive yeah. I'll check into this.

One last thing, does it matter if you have the 92-95 hatch, or a 96-00 hatch? Are the mounting brackets the same?

So you're saying if you just swap out the 2 door back with the Civic Back it won't fit at all, or it will look perfect?
