Default Gas Brands?

What brands of gas do you guys prefer to put in your turbo cars? I've heard some brands are a little better & consistent than others.

they have a different way of rating octane.

we use ron + mon/2 they use just one, so their 98 is probably like 93-95 over here. they also have bullshit additives too...

I try to stay away from BP, as recommended by my tuner (Blundar).. he said he's seen the most gas problems with BP gas... my dad even confirmed that BP was crap. I normally use Marathon.

So you're dad is a lab tech at BP correct? If not, then he knows nothing more than the average Jo-Schmo on the street.

I say bullshit. I have used BP in many cars and never seen a problem, including turbo and nitrous setups. In fact I only use BP 93 in my car (partly because there is one by house) but mainly because I feel it is a great product and like being consistent with my fuel.

In Ohio all of the BP/Shell or Marathon/Speedway gas terminals get the gas from some of the same places.Three that I know of.Most of it is just different additives.Bp has more Quality Control than MAP.So much for a American company serving America. My car (400WHP) lives on Bp 93 and 35k later not one problem.I just switch it with the 93w/ETH and Clear 93.

Both, my tuner and my dad have experienced problems with BP gas around here. I'd rather play it safe and not fall into a statistic of a blown engine because of gas. I know I have no "real" evidence as you guys would say, but Blundell telling me that he's had a lot of trouble with BP gas is enough for me to stay away from it.
