best suspension for a crx?
Well I have to tell you to put on your fire suit because you are about to get flamed. Why dont you tell everyone a little bit more info. Like what you plan on using the car for, your budget etc..............
And to answer your question Koni yellows and eibach springs.

If you have the money you will not reget getting full coilovers. They offer the best ride quality and adjustablity money can buy, and prices start around$800, and go to $2200. I have B&G S2 coilover on my rex and could'nt be happier, the best ride quality i've experienced in a honda. But weigh your options; do you want a race quality ride, which will bouce your girlfriends ***** off, or something in between. Tein is a great company, but some of their coilovers are harsh on the street, JIC is another great company, so is Apexi, cusco, B&G, hks, omni, etc... Just do your home work and find out which company offers the best suspension for your situation. http://www.modacar.com has a great selection of coilovers.
Whatever you do stay away from Omni for the EF, they just re-used the Eg shocks, but ive heard good things for everything but the EF. Im waiting on some ksports right now, hopefully I made a good decision
yeah i was looking at the tein ss and i want something that i could drive daily but if i wanna put my foot down and fly around corners and **** they are going to handle ya know are those b n g's good? cuz right know i got gr2s with neuspeed yellows and i dunno it handles good and all but i wanna be able to drop it some more too just like an 1/2 inch for the stance and ****
I had the gr2's with arospeed springs before and what dogshit that suspension was, my B&G coilovers are sweet they will hold your *** to the seat and will give you a luxury ride even at low heights. My crx can out corner most cars in my area and I attribute it to my B&G's, but the spoon struts bars do help quite a bit. In my mind money well spent, with suspension do go cheap. You ge what you pay for, most of the time.
tein ss are crap. its not even a threaded body coilover. if your looking at tein you should get tein RA for a crx. there kinda on the stiff side. throws you around a bit.
they cost me 1400 new. and they're worth every penny.

You would have to run 88 rear lower control arms..I know nothing about teins but are you sure they dont make them for 89-91 cars?
edit- beat me to it..
To the op I have the skunk2 full coilovers and they're pretty good..

It all depends on what you use car for. Drag racing, auto X, road racing, daily driving all have different demands. I personally have Koni Yellows with Ground Control coilovers (w/Eibach springs) and couldn't be happier. My car is mostly a daily driver so I went with 350 lb. springs in the front and 400 lb. in the rear. I have the Koni's dialed down to full soft for daily driving. It's a little firmer than stock and perfect for my comute. If I want to drive more aggressively I can just dial the ride up. On the full firm setting I can feel every pebble in the road. Spring selection is very important - too soft and your car will handle worse than a seventies caddy (see ultra cheap ebay coilovers). Too firm and it will be like driving a go cart (sounds great but it would be murder on your back, rattle your teeth, and have girls trying to jump out of your moving car). Do alot of research here on various setups. The search feature is great............
well i wasnt asking for "best setup" or any of that..i was juss wondering how to get 88' susp. on a 91'. nah...i checked numorous times and so far ive only seem them make it for the 88 rex. i already have the tein ss dampers...and now im browsing for sumthing a little more aggresive. damn sorry to jack the thread...
