my buddy needs some help on his h22 swap...Hes using the VX harness...He has the 4 wire o2 sensor, now from what i understand is to cut a 4 wire clip off of a prelude engine harness. Now what color wires do i match together from the cut prelude clilp to the vx engine harness? And which wires do i switch at the ecu. if anybody knows the colors or has wiring diagrams please post up i would appreciate it...Oh and hes using a p28 ecu.

 

Alright...Ive searched and searched and searched and i havent found a clear answer...here is what ive come up with using a plug from an ex harness.

ECU-----------engine harness------------------new 4 wire plugfrom------------o2 sensor
----------------cut 5 wire plug off----------------ex harness------------------------

D22----------green/white-----------------------green/white----------------------green
D14----------orange/blue-----------------------white-----------------------------white
A6------------yellow/black-----------------------orange/black---------------------black
B1 or A25----yellow/black-----------------------yellow/black---------------------black

Is this correct? what do i do with the 5th wire left over? just tape it up? Please help ASAP i will be doing this in about an hour.

 

you are 100% correct.
you don't need the 5th wire, tape it up or use it for something else.
