Where is the Fuel pump on a 1988 Accord?

 

Regardless if it's Fuel Injected (LXi), or Carbureted (DX, LX) it's in the Fuel Tank. It's part of an integrated Pump/Pick-up/Meter assembly. It requires pulling the tank, If I remember correctly

The Difference is in the Fuel Filter Location

P is right you gotta pull the tank. it wasn't until the 5th gen accords that you could get to the fuel pump via the trunk.

 

Before you drop out the fuel tank, remove the carpet in the trunk and look behind the rear seat for an access hole, peel it off and look whats under there!!

 

I see nothing of either an access hole, a sealing grommet or a steel plate which would allow access thru the trunk. refer linked illustration:

I will tell you that on my 90 there is an aluminium looking plate under the rear seat back which accesses it.

 

4th Gen, still possibly different than the '86 - '89 crowd....
