Ok so heres the deal,this is my freinds ls integra with an sir-g b18c in it.It has run fine with no cel's for about a year.My freind who owned this car left for the marines and his mom took the car to a shop to get it checked out because it was going to be sold.The mechanic basically had at it with the swap wiring because he didn't "know what it was or where the wires were going".....basically he fucked it up.So...my freind and i have been working on trying to get everything back together,the car also has a v-afc.We ordered a rywire sub-harness to clean things up and it still hasn't fixed the problem.Vtec engages and pulls till about 6800 rpms then has a limiter at 6900...it is throwing two codes,code 22(vtec pressure) and code 21(spool solinoid valve?).We also found out that the knock sensor itself is kinda broken(the plug is ripped and comes out occaisionally)...but whats weird is that when its out,it doesn't throw a code 23 which it should,instead it throws 22 and 21.All of the wires are wires correctly and the vafc is also wires correctly....but it is still acting up.Sounds like a fuggin crazy mess but if there is any help or advice anyone could give me that would be sweet.
