Default MTF for B18C5 LSD.

What would be a good tranny fluid to use for a B18C5 gearbox with LSD? I hear that some LSDs do not work well with certain fluids and the tranny will start to make funny noises. The car will jerk on acceleration as well.

Most of us will use regular Honda MTF for even arduous applications.

The Honda LSD in the ITR is a regular gear-driven unit that uses regular gearbox oils.

those that dont run Honda MTF run GM Syncromesh with Friction modifiers, makes the 3rd gear skip go away ...

I've always had really great experiences using Redline MTF.

How bout the new Motul Gear FF 75w90?

Is the ITR n CTR LSD of the same kind (Helical)

No Honda MTF sold in Malaysia, as almost all the models they import is dont have a option for manual.

Just replaced the tranny oil with Caltex SAE 90. Car starts to jerk randomly upon releasing of my throttle in any gear. My tech tightened my throttle cable as well. What could be the problem? Could my LSD be acting up due to this oil?

if you can get the Motul oil at the same price as the Honda stuff, I suppose you could stick with it.... otherwise Honda MTF and GM sync mesh mix for me at the moment.

The ITR/CTR LSD are both helical and can be interchanged (identical)
