Default IACV Wiring: Can someone verify if this is Right? (Its a 2 wire OBd1 PLug and valve)

Im throwing code 14 on my obd1 p28 because i had no IACV plug (EACV) and i am going to wire it up straight from the ecu.......This includes: (its a 2 wire)

Run one wire from ecu pin A09 (green/white) directly to the IACV plug ...and then just taking the remaining wire on the 2 wire plug and grounding it. Is this correct?

Note** Just for the record the IACV is a 2 wire and so is the plug i just have to wire it because it was cut off my harness.

1 wire goes to A9 and the other goes to 12v ignition which is key one engine off. In obd1 cars its the yellow/black wire.
