my dx started life as an auto... i put in the 5 speed clutch assy. from a 89 si. the clutch pedal has a plug on itand my auto dx doesnt come with the plug. what should i wire into this or doesnt it matter? can i find a plug on here if i need it?

 

I am in the same boat as you. I only have the pedals in right now, and I have the same plug, my guess is that it senses when the clutch it pressed in, but I have no idea about wiring it up, good luck with the swap. I needs a clutch.

didnt wire mine up and its fine.

 

The plug is there so you don't start your car in gear with the clutch out. It's a safety thing.

you dont have to wire up that switch it wont hurt enything if you just leave it
