Default d16y8 oil catch can/cannister hose connection?

Basically, I'm running a d16y8 turbo and need to find out if i need to connect that hose coming from the cannister behind the block. The hose can be pulled out easily and looks like it connects to the intake manifold. I'm currently using that spot for vacuum for my 3 car map sensor and my question is if it's ok to block off that hose coming from the back cannister and still be good? Is it necessary?

the pcv hose? that connects to the IM.

No it's not good to block that hose off.. you'll build to make crankcase pressure. Run it too your pre-turbo tube.. or an exhaust cut-off.. theres a thread about this
