Tire Recommendation for Stock Accord
It's time to buy new tire for my 1994 Accord EX Sedan. This car is 100 % stock and I would like to keep it that way.
The recommended tire size is 195/60/15.
I would like to keep the cost of each tire $50.00 or below.
I'm in Sol Cal and it hardly rains here at all, I have did some research and I'm leaning towards these tires. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Kumho ECSTA 711 $40.00 @ Tirerack
or
Falken Ziex ZE-512 $37.00 @ Vulcan Tires

I have Falken Ziex's on my hatch and I'm pleased with them
- dry traction is really good for the price point
- wet traction isn't bad at all, although occasionally I'll get some wheel spin from stopped starts. But thats only if its raining really hard.
They performed poorly in the snow, but being in So Cal you won't have to worry about that.

I just purchased the Falken's for my 02 base rsx
its been raining the last few days so I havent' had a chance to truly test them out on dry surfaces but so far I'm pleased
