Default OT: For all those stuck in the snow

It is sunny where I am in CA. Not to brag, I would rather be at the slopes.

I got a new camera for Christmas and got a break from hw today, So took the Type R and the girlfriend to the beach.

the waves

didn't quite catch it

the car (I'm too lazy to put the surf racks on)

My g/f had the iso setting wrong on the camera when she was taking pics of me surfing. This is the only one that turned out good enough to post

Enjoy

the wing is an excellent mounting point for the rear rack.

I make her sit fetal position in the back.

But seriously she sits in the back on the left right next to the boards

The only pics I have of my old car on the beach are from a film camera. Nice to take the R out there. Do you guys have beaches you can actually drive on or do you have to park and carry all of your crap down?

Depends on which beach you go to, but if you had a truck you could drive right onto the beach.

And tons of crazy guys with HUGE trucks drive on the sand dunes a few miles down the way

When I lived in Santa Barbara we rode our bikes to the beach with our boards under our arm
