Default Caster/Camber plates?

Does anyone make caster/camber plates (for the top of the strut) for a 94 Civic? My car is dropped and I didn't really want to use the adjustable ball joints because that is going to narrow my wheel base.

EDIT: I figured that part out, skip down to the bottom of this page.

No.. easiest way is with say skunk2, or omni power adjustable upper ball joint when getting it aligned they will have to lift the front of the car and then they can reach the adjustment they just wont like you very much bcause it wont pay them anymore to do the extra work trust me im a mechanic. but its still easier than a big dodge truck...

Yea, I know. I'm a mechanic too. I just had to switch jobs and all they have is a shitty 111 Hunter machine. So I won't be able to lift the front end and adjust it, unless I compensate the wheels each time I lift it and drop it back down.
I actually didn't think the Dodge trucks were that bad. I just came from the Dodge dealer in town. Intrepids sucked, the tie rods would always freeze.

yeah we have the new lazer machine it works wonders. I just hate dodges sliding upper control arms on the trucks like dakotas. well nobody makes camber plates for your ride because you have an upper control arm supporting the hub instead of the strut bracing it wrong kind of settup for plates...

exactly....by you moving the strut/spring combo you arent adjusting camber caster ( and that is what a camber/caster plate would do for you) the pivot points are the lower balljoint and upp balljoint. to get more caster you would need to move the upper balljoint towards the rear of vehicle or the lower towards the front.

and to you two mechanics.....300 m suck and intrepids. i also disliked all the old chevy vans and chevy astros , ford aerostars.....those can lick my ***. if anybody owns one of those...please dont get an alignment because your wasting your money. i would scam big time on those p.o.s.'s. amazing what a screwdriver could do for an alignment....lmao

Opps, just went out and looked at the car and it does have an upper and lower ball joint. I'm just used to the strut bearing being the upper pivot point.

And on the 2wd Dakotas I always raised the front of the truck and moved the control arm. It's much easier. They actually make a special tool for doing those trucks.

adjusting camber with the top of the strut is for macpherson struts. 92-00 civics have upper/lower control arms.

yea just to let you know, you are going to hang yourself about after 3 days of work in dodge dealer. Chryslers are about the worst fucken cars ever made, leak everywhere where it's possible and not possible. Trannies are junk, and those morans come up with the shittiest ways of doing stuff. I hate chryslers I hope they all burn down.

I work with a guy who used to be a tech at dodge dealer, he is 60 years old, and god damn he is fucked up in the head. Plus he likes those junk *** cars too.

Yeah buddy you got double wishbone, no mcphearson strut.

Camber is easy. Just move them down from the middle about half way down evenly, and most of the time you will be dead on when you go to allign it. I got so good at it that every time I put those ******* on, along with rear camber kit you won't have to adjust it at all. Even if you do and your machine doesn't compensate, because you general manager is a cheap ***, just lift it up and take a wild guess where it goes.

Alright, I finally found the kit I need to use. The adjustment for the kit is at the upper control arm for the front and rear. The only problem I see is the tire is already about 1/4 away from the fender well in the back so it looks like I'm going to have to cut the lip of the fender well off. Has anyone else had to do that?

yeah people roll the fenders. Unless you are rolling on the true coilover which keeps to the shock fully extended, you are making your handeling worse, by doing this.

I have Tokico struts and some yellow springs, I didn't see a name on them.
