Jeff Evans is in PA. Just go with stock sleeves and have him tune your car. They will last.

There are a few shops that I believe sleeve blocks. There is a guy in dillsburg, I don't remember the shop name, but I am pretty sure he had a sleeved block sitting there last time I went in.

Also I think UCF in carlisle Pa can sleeve a block, but not 100% about that one.

I would just get one pre-sleeved from Earl.

I know. I was telling him to go with stock sleeves, since they can handle 600+ horsepower. Not sure what this guys goals are, but stock sleeves will probably be fine.

Wasn't golden eagle, was a local well know machine shop and actually does good work on v-8's and stuff like that.

Made me kind of wonder once I saw them on backwards. I could have put them on myself but the old ones needed pressed out or something so i figured while they are there just throw the new rods on the pistons....i think he did just "throw" them on. I switched them at home once i got there and have not taken a thing back to the place.

I know people make mistakes, i do all the time, but had I not had commen sence they would be in the engine wrong. So I do my own work now cuz it's hard to trust anyone anymore with a project that takes so much money and time to do. Plus is something is put in wrong and I did it I can only be mad at myself.
