(89 civic hatch/89 crx gauge cluster) i was driving home at 12am when i noticed my Tachometer needle started bouncing around all crazy. at a stop, if i would hit the clutch, the needle would drop to zero, or at intial take off it would jump to 5k then return to normal rpm reading..and at other times it was just acting normal..is this a wiring problem? i bought this car with the CRX cluster already installed so i never touced it b4..help?

Your igniter is starting to go out, just get a new dizzy.

 

the dizzy is only about a month old..??
