ok my car has been boggin alittle here lately and i have done EVERYTHING and today i got under the hood and looked at my fuel gauge and noticed it said 75 at idle and revs at 80 :shock: now im not the smartest retard in special ed but i dont think thats real good..and i only got a AEM fuel rail with a stock regulator..anyone know how i can fix this somehow??

 

What fuel pump do you have?

 

stock i assume...unless the previous owner put a diff. one in it

 

Try running your stock rail with the gauge and see what it reads. If still high swap out the regulator.

 

hmm...i had a FPR but i couldnt get it to go down past 50 and i put this stock regulator on and it shot to 80 and sometimes vtec sounds wierd like u can hear it but u can feel it and it pulls HARD..but then dies out and gets all loud

 

50 isnt bad. Stock is 45 +/- a few.

 

yea..but the car just isnt runnin right..and the only time it does run right is when i completely advance the timing

 

Then you have more problems then just the fuel. Swap the rail and try to fix regular problems then upgrade.

 

what other probs could that lead to???
