ive cleaned the butterfly three times and it fixes it for about an hour than the throttle is all sticky again but when the car is not running its fine... only sticky when the car is running??? has anybody had this problem before do i need to replace my t/b?

i would check my cable and try to put some silicone based lubricant in it maybe that would help

 

when the engine is not running the throttle is not sticky though
thats why i ruled out the throttle cable and think its something in the throttle body but ive cleaned the **** outa it and it just get sticky agian an hr later

 

if the throttle plate closes to much then it will stick, try adjusting the plate stop screw a 1/2 turn.

 

gets some thottle plate cleaner? what idle rpm are you at. just curious
