You need to drop that car. It looks way too high up. Not feeling the hood or the paint job either, but its a nice sight under the hood .

Your right, ZC have 7 crown nuts on valve cover .D16a1 has only four.

One word would describe the responses: Damn!

Aye, now that I'm home, raining and soon to be snow (dang it!), I can now get everything settled out. Thanks to everybody for the comments as well, its nice to be around people who appreciate a good car and not just one-sided on V-*'s only (that's another story to tell later).

First things first, the hood. As I should have mentioned I bought this car from a buddy of mine for only $300 as is, minus a few of the fixups I've already done to it so far. The hood was one of the first things that my buddy did to give it a more "unique" look. I do happen to like the hood as to me it just screams "GIVE ME MORE AIR!" and of course, its not something I've yet to see done to a CRX. Mind you guys, I've seen the nice rides, but I find the hood to be something that makes it stand out, hence, the hood is definately something different. Maybe some time down the road I might change it or do something with it, for now I'm stuck with it and don't mind changing it. To each his own right?

The rims, tires and suspension. 14 inch rims without the covers to hide the lugs, sucks for me. The 3 I have left, won't fit back into place without replacing the lugs, which, I could care less at this point. The tires on the other hand, well, let's say if one tire fails at doing its job of doing something (rain, snow, dry weather traction) likily one of the other 3 will do the job as they're all different brands of tires. As soon as my tax returns come in, I'm buying brand new low-profile Fusions or Faulkens. in the least it'll be lowerd somewhat. For the rims and tires of my choice, would have cost me $1300 to buy them and install them, I'd rather spend my money on the smaller, more important things first. The suspension is just ****. Front struts are shot and will bottom out when hit just right, and the back springs were replaced with some Honda Civic springs. no idea what year or make, but they're Honda and its got the back end jacked up. Something else to fix later.

The body. Well, it was painted red at one point, and I guess my friend got tired of having a red car with a black hood and black front bumper and spray painted it black with the gunk you get for car models or something. The body will be redone in time once my financial allows me to. Till then, I'll just paint the red gaps in with black model car paint pen Next to that, chipped and missing a few peices here and there, nothing I'm too worried about to deal with yet. Also, does anybody ever pay $25-35 for those APC grilles at Autozone? Call me a redneck, but I only paid $5 for a set of 5 gutter guard shields and custom cut them myself to fit into the front bumper. They all look the same to me, just a grille to cover your stuff. if there's a difference, I wouldn't know as of yet.

Misc. I am missing the other windshield wiper blade as well as have a possibly fried wiper blade motor. Don't worry, I got Rain-X and a squeegee in my car just in case (I got home tonight despite the rain didn't I?). Also, that is an 89 Integra b16a3 in there along with a "custom" made cold air intake my other buddy made from some kind of piping, I'm pretty sure its from a diesel Definately a nice fast ride and hasn't given me any major problems as of yet (knocks on wood). I'm already in the progress of buying a b18 motor for it as well that I plan to rebuild from scratch as more money comes in and I gain more experience in car mechanics. Wil update this with pics in time as I do more work to it in the future. Thanks for the responses guys....

Rack- Wish I could answer that myself. For all I know it could very well be positioned right and I just took the pic of the engne in a position that makes it seem like its hanging all the way over there. If not for the rain I'd check myself to make sure but as long as its running fine I guess it can't be all that bad right?

I see that too, I was about to write that till I read your post... I think its a combo of the lights, the hood, and the bumper... also, the ride height is remeniscent of the stock 83ish (don't quote me, i hate fords) stangs.

i wouldn't spend my money on a b18. not in that car. look into it first i think you will find that trying to put a b18 into a 1st gen is really hard. plus you would have to make a custom shift linkage, custom mounts, completely redone ALL wiring.

stick with your d16a1. turbo it if you have room. but it won't be worth it trying to get a b18 in there. get a 2nd gen if you really want a b18.

just my two cents.
