For my new setup on my SOHC, I was looking at running a Precision SC50 .48 a/r. A local guy here has one for $500, only used for 1,000 miles. He's a friend of a friend, who can vouch for me that the turbo was fine when pulled because he tuned the setup.
Should I spend $500 on a used SC50? Or should I wait for a better deal to come around?
For example, I know it's a little bigger but still...

$560 shipped for a brand-new Garrett T3/T4e 57 trim .63 a/r.
Thoughts?

I have Nothing but good things to say about Precision Turbo's if the seals are still good and there is no play why not buy it used, my friend has ran his SC34 for about 42k miles so far going strong

Honestly, I'm sort of leaning towards a brand-new Garrett turbo for only $60 more.
