Default who's boosted with an eg radiator?

i have an ef civic and now that i went with a bigger turbo my stock rad. wont fit, so im think of using an ef rad. but how would my cooling be? with a smaller rad. and a turbo still close to the rad. im kinda worried that it might not cool enough.....so anyone with experience let me know how well it would cool---thanks

you will be fine..the smaller rad is actually twice as thick so its has pretty the same amount of cooling as the longer one that is half as thick.

you can get dual core eg rads for $40 shipped new off ebay, not aluminum

On an ef, youll have to throw a gangster lean to close your hood or get a aftermarket crossmember

I just hacked a bit of the stock crossmemeber at the front for clearance and it worked

Thats on a 88 si

Mine is the duel core. It is twice as thick. True it doesn't have the surface area that a full length stock crx rad has but the duel core will cool the boosted motor sufficiently. I have been running mine for 3 years at 10lbs supercharged and now turbo charged, without one problem. I use a good 12" fan as well which is just as important.

im assuming it doesnt fit because of the downpipe. if so just twist the rad sideways a little bit, and put a slim fan on it
