VALVETRAIN QUESTION

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHY WHEN I WAS TORQING ON THE ROCKER BOLTS ONE SNAPPED BEFORE IT GOT TO THE TORQUE SETTING REQUIRED? I DID DO THEM IN THE SEQUENCE ALSO, AND DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE TORQUE SPECS ON THE HEAD ASSEMBLY MAYBE I GOT BAD INFO THANKS

Were you confusing "foot/lbs" with "inch/lbs"?

Those rocker bolts arent ment to be torqued anymore then maybe 15lbs tops.

What torque were you told and where did you get that info from?

it said 16 ft pounds so thats what i tightened them to and i got 2 down to 16 and the third one broke on me, on 2 different occasions
