Default 99 si stereo in 92-95 civic ***help***

I bought the 99 si harness and I hooked up the power and ground wires and they work cause the 99 stereo turned on and asked me for the anti-theft code. I punched in the code and tried installing the speaker wires and they don't worked. When I hook up the speaker wires to my 92-95 speaker wires I don't hear anything. Is this deck compatible with my car? Can someone please help me cause I've tested all the speaker wires in all possible connections and I still don't hear anything from the speakers. Any help would be appreciated.

Did the speakers work before you took the original deck out?

Have you pop tested the speakers? You can do this with a AA battery touched to the speaker wires.

If you pop test the speakers and they are functioning, you may have a bad deck...

So this deck doesn't work any more then? Even though it powers up?

Well, if you've confirmed that your speakers are functional, and that you have everything wired correctly, but you get no sound, logic would tell you that the outputs on the deck are not working. And yes, the deck can power on but have blown amplifier outputs...
