I wanted to know from anyone who has gotten the full-race traction bar with the full-race radiator if you are able to use the stock radiator fan ? I know you can use your stock radiator with the traction bar but you must either lean it or trim you hood which I dont want to do either. If you have to use a different fan which one is recommended ?

 

flexite....I wouldnt even bother using stock fan on a nice piece like that form full race...spend 800 bucks on that setup and us stock fan :-(...go flexite and you will tend to love them

 

yeah don't even bother with the stock fan. I'm using a SPAL High Perfomance 11" fan.

I'm using a stock fan with my Full-Race Traction Bar and with a huge Koyo Rad. The rad does have a slight lean to it

i got a 12 inch slimfan for $60 shipped from the Sponsor marketplace. B18bturbo i think...i like it alot. Cant even see its so sliiiimmmm

hey I am getting the full race traction bars, but do not want to buy the full race radiator, it wont support turbo, anyways.... can you use another half size radiator with the kit......also which is the best fan to buy for turbo clearance, thanks

are you serious?? look at my picture. thats a full race rad and a turbo and it "supports it", so im not sure where you heard that before.

 

with the abundance of pictures posted here makes me regret not asking this question when I was researching for possible fan fitment. Then again mines was trial and error, but think that's how we all learned.

has to be one of the cleanest motors on h-t

 

i dont beleive the stock fan fits on our radiator. i've tried every single oem fan/shroud combo we have at the shop and nothing i found fit the way i like, which is clean.

i opted for a 10" off the shelf autozone fan. mounted to the right as much as possible and as low as possible.
