Default Question about my 92 hatch

Ok here's the story...I slide sideways into a 6 inch curb and broke both roja 17's on the drivers side. Thats not even the worst it also broke the lower suspension that hooks to the frame on the back left! I was wondering how much it would take to fix...that's effort and money. I can't stand having vtec and not being able to enjoy it. Any info you all can provide me will be very much appriciated!!!

Thanks!

hey, i would say cheapest way to go is to try and find a eg shell and then just swap what ever motor you had your previous car into it. becuz your looking at a heavy price. your gonna need new struts, bearings, temporary wheels, etc. its just a waste of money, unless you really love your eg. good luck

you only need what is bent...not everything there. new rims...since you said they were cracked....i dont know how you broke two rims....maybe you hit the front too? take it to an alignment shop...they will be able to see if parts are bent or out of whack. worst case scenerio......

new stru...new lower control arm....bearing....wheels...a little bending of the subframe to make control arm fit...

this isnt that all bad.....go grab a rear disc conversion.....grab a control arm....grab new wheels...grab susspenson kit. people do this stuff to thier civics all day long. look at it like your building over again.

^^basically what he said. just all the suspension components, just as long as the unibody is ok.

Thanks for the info guys! I talked to a mechanic at the dealership and he said a little cutting, welding, and the right suspension parts should be all I need. I really appriciate the tips...as for the retard who had something to say about "hitting vtec". When did I say anything about "hitting" it? The only thing I'll be hittin' is your woman...have fun with that!
