Default crx with d-series swap

Does anyone know if an 88 stock si tranny will work with a d16z6?

I will work, but you have to use an 88 clutch/flywheel.

The 88 tranny has a different number of splines than newer trannies. The tranny will bolt up to that motor fine.

you can still use a 220mm clutch if you use the flywheel and pressure plate from the z6 (90+ pressure plate and flywheel) if you use a clutch from an 85-87 prelude Si its a 220mm clutch with 21 splines...

i personaly didint feel comftorable putting 200whp on a 200mm clutch so thats what i did when bolting up my 89 si tranny to my d15b
