Yeah my friend told me about this right when they got some CTR's in. He said they plan to run CTR's in the BTCC with factory support or not. I'm not sure if he's working on the team or not. But I believe there rallying a Vauxhall now in the the Brit rally champ. But that being said I'm not sure if anyone will be able to take the Vauxhall Astra and Peugeot 406 cars out which where the top cars of last yr with MG's not far behind in Touring. Though Proton is has entered with David Leslie so I'm sure if the car is reliable David will take it to the front.
Honda Racing will be running two CTR's in the BTC Touring

Synchromotorsports will be running two CTR's and Accord in Production class.

That 406 is a very very nice design!!! Pininfarina!!

 

Had one, 3 litre Coupe ... Great on Motorway, more of a sporty cruiser than performance car, bit heavy round town ..

 

When I was thinking about moving to the UK last yr I thought about the 406 after watching it run in the BTCC in it's bright yellow colours. I love pretty much all Pininfarina designs. But I think the 406's will give the Vauxhalls astras more a run for there money since they where doing well from last yr.

Hey what happen with Jason Plato? I notice I don't see him listed as Vauxhall driver no more even though he won it all last yr. Did he get signed on with someone else or is he doing some other car series? I noted he was writing articles for Evo last yr..so did he become full time writer or test driver?

in fact, this is kinda the only european car (behind M series BMW´s) I would like to own.
As for the CTR, I like it but I think the hood is to short and the roof is to high, the EK VTi was the sporties hatch ever, why they changed so soon.. I dont know.. but I´ll take on CTR please.. in black

I figure Plato probably making good bit money with all the Mag and Tv deals he's doing now. I heard he was looking at MG but he didn't get on with Reid as teammate. I wish he come back with Renault which he was just mad man in and sometimes used it for batterram hehe

Hey are they doing price caps on how much they can spend on the BTC touring cars? I notice most seem to be running 250K a car with R&D but I'm sure most teams spend more.
