Prelude SH
I just got my hands on a 99 Prelude SH, but have already dropped that stupid ATTS Tranny for a base model tranny. Which by the way is so much better, I guess my main question is. What kinda suspension can I put on this car that will ride well. On my accord I have H&R Sport Springs w/ KYB AGX Shocks which in my opion rode very well love it actually. Since I have a SH model prelude. I cant really use base model prelude lower springs or can I.
Yeah, as long as you use shocks and springs that are either BOTH from and SH or BOTH from a base, you'll be fine.
And what the hell did you drop the ATTS tranny for?
I thought to do that you had to change axles and ****, and even then you'd constantly be throwing an ATTS code. Plus, I thought the base tranny's wouldn't bolt up to an SH block because of the way ATTS was mounted to everything, not to mention oil filter location kind of changes fitment of the tranny too right?

Well, all you need to do is a base model intermediate shaft to go where the ATTS unit once was, along with a base tranny and axles of course. Also, i dont think the position of the oil filter has anything to do with it, as it's up near the intake manifold.

Unless you are going Turbo and have like 350 wheel horespower, then dropping the ATTS was pointless. Because now youre Prelude is not an SH, now its a base model prelude that handles like aahh, umm, a base model prelude with aftermarket suspension. But, if you are planning to make it turbo then COOL.
you should tell us youre plans, and the reason for getting rid of the ATTS.
